“This painting shows my friend, the artist Ramsha Khan, in a renaissance-inspired pose against a background of 23.75 karat gold leaf. It was painted using my version of the seven steps of Dutch 15th century painting—a fitting method, I thought, to such a composition. You can view Ramsha’s own work on instagram @ramsha_creation.”
